Check and Check Box Merge Tags
HUB now supports three different flavors of the *|YesNo|* and *|Acknowledgement|* merge tags, tied to Yes/No questions or Acknowledgement statements on custom documents. Here are the different options and how each will appear on the completed form.
Yes/No Question Merge Tags
1. *|YesNo|* merge tag will render either the word "Yes" or "No" depending on how the new hire answered the question.
Example:
Do you require any special accommodations in the work space? *|YesNo|*
Result – Answer Yes by the New Hire
Do you require any special accommodations in the work space? Yes
Result – Answer No by the New Hire
Do you require any special accommodations in the work space? No
2. *|YesNo_CHECK|* merge tag will render an X if the new hire answers "Yes". If they answer "No", nothing will appear. This would be used if there is already a pre-built checkbox (empty square box) on the form.
Example:
Do you require any special accommodations in the work space? *|YesNo_CHECK|*
Result – Answer Yes by the New Hire
Do you require any special accommodations in the work space? X
Result – Answer No by the new Hire
Do you require any special accommodations in the work space?
3. *|YesNo_CHECKBOX|* merge tag will render a checkbox with an X if the new hire answers "Yes". If the new hire answers "No", then a blank checkbox will appear.
Example:
Do you require any special accommodations in the work space? *|YesNo_CHECKBOX|*
Result – Answer Yes by the New Hire
Do you require any special accommodations in the work space? 
Result – Answer No by the New Hire

Acknowledgement Questions*
1. Merge tag *|Acknowledgement|* will render the word Acknowledged upon acknowledgement by the new hire.
Example:
I acknowledge receipt of the company’s code of conduct and agree to uphold it. *|Acknowledgement|*
Result – Acknowledged by the New Hire
I acknowledge receipt of the company’s code of conduct and agree to uphold it. Acknowledged
Result – Not Acknowledged (not supported by HUB)
2. *|Acknowledgement_CHECK|* merge tag will render an X with no checkbox upon acknowledgement by the new hire. This would be used if there is already a pre-built checkbox (empty square box) on the form.
Example:
I acknowledge receipt of the company’s code of conduct and agree to uphold it. *|Acknowledgement_CHECK|*
Result – Acknowledged by the New Hire
I acknowledge receipt of the company’s code of conduct and agree to uphold it. X
Result – Not Acknowledged (not supported by HUB)
3. *|Acknowledgement_CHECKBOX|* merge tab will render an X with a checkbox upon acknowledgement by the new hire.
Example:
I acknowledge receipt of the company’s code of conduct and agree to uphold it. *|Acknowledgement_CHECK|*
Result – Acknowledged
I acknowledge receipt of the company’s code of conduct and agree to uphold it. 
Result – Not Acknowledged (not supported by HUB)
* All acknowledgement questions must be acknowledged by the new hire. HUB does not allow acknowledgement questions to not be acknowledged.
