HUB HR - Workflows (Equipment Example)
Let's say your IT team would like to engage the help of the staff to help collecting inventory on company owned equipment. You can set up custom fields to track equipment for each employee:
Using workflows, you can push a task out to employees to help them gather the details. In this case, you would use Questions and Select existing custom fields to build your workflow.
You can control other items as well, such as setting a due date, which employees are to complete the task and if you allow them to upload supporting documents.
Each workflow can have a "reviewer" added if you would like the tasks to have a secondary step; not helpful in this scenario but possibly in others such as performance reviews.
